This week's card is the Ace of Swords. Look at this card; let the image of the Ace of Swords fill your mind. What colors dominate the landscape? Is there any one image that stands out to you? When you look at this card, how does it make you feel? That is what is most important, the feelings the images bring out in you. This is where your meaning will come from.

A double-edged sword, held by a hand, emerges from the clouds above a ridge of mountains. The sword is raised up in victory. At the point of a sword sits a crown. Draped over the crown are two branches. One is an olive branch, which represents peace, and the other is a palm branch, which represents severity. At the base of the blade are six Hebrew Yods, recalling the six days of the Mosaic creation (Gray, 1970).

It is a card of power and extremes. It represents the ability to love or hate with great strength. There is no middle ground.

Now, this is my meaning for this card, you should meditate, and develop your own meaning. Look at the picture, what images appear stronger to you. Are there any special colors that are standing out, how do they make you feel.
